A crisp evening air greeted the movie goers in their 1920’s gladrags.

Trevor Mallard our local MP introduced us to Dick Werry from Light House Cinemas.

He is a down to earth kind of bloke who seemed to understand what we are about and offered some real practical advice and support.

In June this year the Petone Light House screened a Premier viewing of the Great Gatsby complete with red carpet, the opportunity to dress up in style, drinkies and nibbles, raffles and an auction. This was a lot of fun, made all the more pleasing by those who rose to the occasion and dressed up.

Many thanks to Dick Werry and his team at the Light House for this successful fundraising event for the Trust.
